I mainly work with photography and film, using my own source material and found imagery. My most recent work explores nostalgia. Nostalgia is much maligned as a way of experiencing the past, yet is is one of the major ways in which culture considers its history. Detached from the people they mean most to, old photographs become an intangible vehicle of collective memory that can stand in for our fantasies of history, both culturally and personally.
